Our Story

Since being established in 1984, at Yardmaster we’re proud to have been hailed as the No.1 manufacturer and supplier of metal garden sheds across Europe.

What started out as a new product idea in a metal manufacturing company, grew into something far greater than just another offering, but a completely new business that has gone from strength to strength over the last 40 years.

Quality is the reason Yardmaster has been able to grow our offering from 4 different sheds to over 40, our workforce up to 70+ people and our supply to upwards of 2 million customers across the continent.

Proudly designed and manufactured domestically, the entire journey of a Yardmaster shed is nurtured in-house, maintaining strict quality control at every corner with a team of experts that know each product like the back of their hand. This commitment to craft has previously earned Yardmaster the title of Queen’s Award for Export Achievement and an ISO 9001 Quality Accreditation.

How?

These sheds are engineered with hot-dipped, galvanised steel and a specialised protective Galvalume coating that is uniquely made up of 55% aluminium and approximately 45% zinc. This means that the material, by nature, has combined the strength of steel, and the superior corrosion resistance of aluminium and zinc. In other words, our sheds offer TWICE the corrosion resistance of other metal sheds.
